Goa Police announced that it has signed an MoU with 5ire, a fifth generation blockchain network company, at its criminal branch in Ribandar to go digital. The MoU was signed by Nidhin Valsan, Indian Police Service (IPS), Superintendent of Police (SP) Crime, on behalf of Goa Police and Pratik Gauri, Founder and CEO of 5ire.

Through this collaboration, the MoU aims to create a public-private partnership between 5ire and the Goa Police to implement a smart policing solution to improve transparency and efficiency in policing, which which will help streamline procedures that reflect all events for all stakeholders.
