Crypto Fest 2022: Seeking Post-Winter Opportunities

Crypto Fest 2022 is expected to be Africa’s largest gathering of crypto experts, enthusiasts and enthusiasts to explore the impact of technology on Web 3.0 and emerging opportunities for investors.

Conflict in Europe and soaring interest rates in the United States have put cryptocurrencies in the middle of one of the worst stock market crashes in tech history.

Bitcoin and Ethereum has fallen more than 70% since the peak of the bull run last year, while several high-profile figures crypto companies closed as the size of the industry fell below US$1 trillion – a significant decrease from a few months prior, when the industry was worth more than triple.

While the market volatility might deter some investors, those with an appetite for high-risk, high-reward innovation can see opportunity on the horizon – and nowhere is this greater than in Africa, where crypto trading have grown by more than 2,500% in the past year, while funding for African crypto startups has increased elevenfold over the same period.

Clearly, crypto is no longer a distant concept that African investors have to ignore indefinitely.

Which begs the question: How long will skeptics and technophobes keep their heads down?

To help seasoned investors, new bagholders, and non-coinmakers tap into opportunities in African crypto, Bitcoin Events is excited to announce the return of Crypto Party 2022the largest gathering of crypto industry leaders, entrepreneurs and experts on the continent, taking place both virtually and in person at Grand Africa Café & Beach on September 30, 2022.
