Major cryptocurrencies saw declines on Saturday. The global crypto market capitalization reached $935.68 billion, down 0.55% from the previous day. Meanwhile, the total crypto market volume fell 7.86% to $81.71 billion in the past 24 hours.

Where the total decentralized finance (DeFi) volume is present at $4.22 billion, or 5.17% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. At the same time, the volume of all stablecoins stands at $74.18 billion, or 90.78% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market.

The price of Bitcoin, the world’s largest and most popular cryptocurrency by market capitalization, fell by 0.17% to Rs 16,000,001 in the past 24 hours. Its market presence currently stands at 39.26%, down 0.01% during the day.

Meanwhile, Ethereum, the second most popular cryptocurrency, fell by 0.82% to Rs 1,11,200.0 the previous day. While Tether is down 0.34% at Rs 84.61. In contrast, Cardano is trading at Rs 38.8000 with a decline of 0.94%.

Additionally, Binance Coin gained 1.41% to reach Rs 23,225.01. Speaking of XRP, this cryptocurrency has seen an increase of 1.24% in the last 24 hours. This cryptocurrency is currently present at Rs 41.50.

Apart from that, there is a huge boom in cryptocurrency hacking. There has been a 60% increase in hacking incidents. This figure relates to the first 7 months of this year. The hack cost $1.9 billion (about Rs 16,000 crore). Incidents of theft of De-Centralized Finance (DeFi) protocol funds have seen a huge increase.
